Friends of Baldwin is always looking for volunteers to join us in our mission. As a group of caregivers to young children, we know that time is precious. Any bit that you can donate to Friends of Baldwin operations helps us tremendously and will be valued and respected as the gift that it is!

Friends of Baldwin Officer Role Descriptions
Co-Presidents: Provide strategic oversight and leadership of all Friends of Baldwin programming and budgeting. Facilitate monthly board meetings. Recruit and support board members and other volunteers. Act as liaison between Friends Of Baldwin volunteers and the Principal. Meet regularly with the Principal and/or Parent Liaison. Write annual appeal fundraising letter.
Treasurer: Responsible for Friends of Baldwin finances including accounting, vendor invoicing/payment, reimbursements, tax preparation, updates to the board, and budget support.
Assistant Treasurer: Assist and support Treasurer as needed, including depositing checks and making reimbursements and payments. Distribute fundraising letters and send thank you letters to donors. Will ideally take on Treasurer Role following year (but not a necessity).
Clerk: Responsible for all corporate maintenance duties, including recording of meeting minutes from Friends Of Baldwin board meetings. Prepare and file annual reports and other corporate documentation. Help develop written Friends Of Baldwin communications as needed, supporting the President and Vice President. Coordinates with Website and Graphics/Advertising to ensure content is created and distributed when necessary.

Webmaster: Responsible for all website maintenance and event updates for Friends activities throughout the year. Helps develop communications as needed to support the Friends organization online.
Graphics/Advertising: Creates graphics and helps create content for things such as our website, newsletters, event fliers and fundraising pages.
Bread Sales Coordinator: Pick up bread donated by Iggys (will need a vehicle for this) and sell bread one day per week, after school, outside the building. Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist as needed. The bread sale funds the main dish for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.
Election Day Bake Sale Coordinator: Organizes bake sale on Election Day (November) to raise money from people entering the building to vote. Secures and coordinates food donations, orders necessary supplies, and oversees scheduling of volunteer shifts on Election Day in partnership with the Volunteer Coordinator.
Holiday Fundraiser (Wreath Sale) Coordinator: Organizes the annual holiday wreath sale. Includes wreath procurement from Pemberton, coordinating community decorating and selling of wreaths.
Spring Fundraiser Coordinator: Organizes, coordinates and solicits donations for the end of year fundraiser (May/June). Work alongside the webmaster and team of caregiver volunteers to upload auction items, run the auction, and distribute winnings in a timely manner.
Family Fall Fun Day Coordinator: Coordinate volunteers to plan, set up, operate and clean up one hour of Fall fun activities and 1 mile run at Sacramento Field.
Gear Sales Coordinator: Order Baldwin-themed merchandise and organize sales of Baldwin themed gear at community events and online.
Ski Trip Coordinator: Plans and coordinates annual Ski Trip to Pat’s Peak.
STEM Fest Coordinators: Plans and schedules activities in collaboration with the Principal, orders supplies and coordinates caregiver volunteers for our epic STEM Fest.
Most of these positions are very well documented thanks to past coordinators so you won’t need to remake the wheel- just plug and play!
